Wedding Florals Launch!

Here it is. June 15, 2015. The florist has been open for a little over a year now and we've done so much in that year that we never could have imagined doing just a year ago. We've spent the past year creating a name in the central Virginia area and networking with other local professionals. We've survived our first Mother's Day, our first Christmas, our first VALENTINE'S DAY (and we had a wedding on the same day), and are now working on year two. We've really learned a lot in the past year from the amazing professionals that we find all around us! We feel so honored to be part of this dedicated community!

That being said, it is time to launch a separate website that is solely dedicated to our wedding and event work. Don't get me wrong, although we love delivering flowers to the unexpectant birthday-girl and walking in to the nursing home with a bright bouquet for an unsuspecting resident, and even making 50 corsages for the local proms, weddings are where those of us who love flowers really get to work our craft. We get to take a small inspiration or a childhood dream (and these days, a Pinterest inspiration board), and turn it into the most amazing reality! There's just something special about being even a small part of a couples' big day that makes us giddy to get our hands dirty and start crafting!

So here it is. Although we're a work-in-progress with this wedding website, we hope that you find it useful. We believe that we're always learning from those around us so please tell us if you have a suggestion!
